About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Emulation Engineer to join our Silicon Technologies group at Apple. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing and manufacturing our next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient processor, system-on-chip (SoC).

Key Responsibilities
  • Bring up SoC on emulation, root cause failing SoC/Processor tests and emulator environment issues
  • Support multiple Emulation environments using the latest emulation techniques: C/C++ DPI Transactors, SV assertions, Coverage, Power Estimation, SpeedBridges, Accelerated UVM Testbenches
  • Closely collaborate with Design, DV, Power, Silicon Validation, Performance and Software teams
Requirements
  • Emulation experience on any/all available platforms (Palladium, Protium, Veloce, or Zebu, EP) including design bringup, build flow, debug, performance and throughput tuning
  • Experience with Verilog, VHDL design
  • Experience with C/C++, DPI and System Verilog
  • Experience writing scripts using any languages (Perl, Python, Makefile)
  • Experience with waveform debug tools, Verdi/SimVision
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with UVM verification environments
  • Design verification, DFT, TestBench modeling experience
  • Knowledge of communication/Interface protocols, like (PCIE, USB), DDR, SPI
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team
Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
