Job Summary
The DevOps Engineer is responsible for bridging the gap between software development, data science, and IT operations. This role designs, develops, and integrates code/model releases, deployment process, and infrastructure automation.

The DevOps Engineer also aims to enhance the efficiency, reliability, and traceability of software and machine learning model deployment processes through automation and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices.


Key Responsibilities
Creates DevOps and MLOps automatic CI/CD pipeline using Ansible and/or Azure DevOps to maximize deployment efficiency.
Utilizes Infrastructure as code concept/tools to improve IT infrastructure management efficiency.
Monitors and Maintains CI/CD performance.
Works with software development, data science, and infrastructure team to collaborate appropriate solution.
Works with Cyber Security Team to ensure pipeline and infrastructure security.
Implements and maintains virtual machine image deployment including software emulation and VDI.

Requirements
B.S. or higher degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or related fields.
Proven experience as DevOps engineer.
Working Experience in a DevOps/SCRUM team.
Working knowledge on Ansible and Azure DevOps.
Working knowledge on Linux and Windows operating systems.
Working knowledge on script language such as YAML, PowerShell script, and others.

Skills and Qualifications
Demonstrated strong research, design, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work with a diverse group of people, be open to ideas of others, and change direction quickly as necessary, for project success.
Strong ability to develop functional analysis and design specifications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and independent with minimal supervision.
Must be able to handle multiple situations under time constraints.
Thorough follow-up and focus on issue until resolved and summary on closed issues.
Ability to work under fast-paced, stressful environment.
Willing to work with flexible schedule, including night shift and/or weekends.
Exceptional analytical ability to coordinate installations, upgrades, and evaluate operational issues of computer systems.
Excellent time-management, self-motivation, and communication (both written and verbal) abilities.
Ability to plan, develop, document, communicate, train, and lead others to project completion.
Strong organizational skills.
Eager to improve existing processes.
Documentation skills.
Transportation or maritime experience is a plus.
