Technical Marketing Engineer

Cisco is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Technical Marketing Engineer to join our UCS Performance team. As a Technical Marketing Engineer, you will be responsible for defining, validating, and driving Network (VIC/Fabric) performance on Cisco UCS and Nutanix HCI platforms.
Key Responsibilities:- Define and validate Network (VIC/Fabric) performance on Cisco UCS and Nutanix HCI platforms
- Drive Network (VIC/Fabric) performance on Cisco UCS and Nutanix HCI platforms
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop technical marketing collateral, such as white papers, best practice guides, and technical presentations
- Optimize network performance for AI-centric use cases, including low-latency data transfer, high bandwidth needs, and efficient prioritization
- Optimize UCS platforms to support high-performance AI/ML training and inference workloads
- Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of experience in Compute, Networking background
- Experience working on Ethernet, Fiber Channel, FCoE, iSCSI protocols, and virtual networking technologies in the datacenter environment
- Experience configuring SR-IOV, QoS, VLANs, and advanced networking protocols in data center environments
- Experience working with compute and data center networking products
- Experience with Cisco Nexus switches, and network automation tools
- In-depth knowledge of Cisco UCS systems, Fabric interconnects, and VIC adapters
- Deep understanding of the networking architecture within Cisco UCS environments, along with hands-on experience in tuning the performance of Cisco Virtual Interface Cards (VICs) and fabric interconnects
- Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) in Datacenter or Routing & Switching
- Good understanding of AI/ML frameworks
