Patient Access Representative

White Plains Hospital is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Patient Access Associate to join our team. As the first point of contact for patients, this role is critical in providing exceptional service and ensuring a seamless experience for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to multi-channel inquiries regarding appointments, referrals, and other patient-related matters in a timely and efficient manner.
- Utilize strong communication and interpersonal skills to resolve patient concerns and provide accurate information.
- Manage patient records and demographics, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Perform general office duties, including scheduling, registration, and other front desk responsibilities.
- Collaborate with colleagues and leadership to improve departmental performance and patient satisfaction.
- Attend mandatory meetings and participate in workgroups or projects as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous customer service experience preferred.
- Basic medical terminology and electronic scheduling experience a plus.
- Ability to speak, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Strong telephone etiquette and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
