Shift:

Day Shift (4:00am start time) and Swing Shift (2:00 pm start time), Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays and daily overtime hours as required.


Responsibilities:
As a Fabrication Technician at PACE Supply, you will be instrumental in our fabrication operations.

Your responsibilities will include:
Conducting inspections and preparing pipes for bundling, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Fabricating and repairing basic components with accuracy and meticulousness.

Demonstrating a willingness to be trained in setting up, maintaining, and operating machinery.

Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of operating procedures for assigned equipment.

Strictly observing and following workplace safety regulations and standards.

Promptly reporting any safety hazards within the work environment.

Ensuring a tidy, organized, and safe workplace.

Performing routine maintenance on equipment and machinery to guarantee safe and efficient functioning.

Loading and unloading products while adhering to safety protocols.

Regularly lifting objects weighing up to 50lbs and collaborating in team lifts when necessary.

Accurately reading and interpreting paperwork, blueprints, and schematics.

Utilizing a tape measure and basic hand tools proficiently.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent

Prior experience in a fabrication or manufacturing setting is advantageous but not mandatory.

Basic mathematical skills

Steel-toed boots and suitable safety gear

Capability to stand, crouch, and lift objects throughout your shift

Physical endurance and manual dexterity

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to shifting priorities.

Strong attention to detail and a dedication to delivering high-quality work.

Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.

Proficient in reading a tape measure and using basic hand tools

Flexibility to work overtime and occasional Saturdays as required.

Ability to lift items that weigh up to 50 lbs. regularly. This includes carrying, dragging, and walking with materials, as well as using a hand-truck.

Prolonged periods of standing or sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Specific vision abilities required for this job include distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.

Environmental Conditions:
The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.

Occasionally, the employee may be exposed to high, precarious places and vibration.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
