Key Responsibilities- Deliver personal care services to patients in accordance with established care plans.
- Utilize safety principles and proper body mechanics while assisting with ambulation, transferring, and positioning of clients.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as required.
- Perform housekeeping and environmental services as assigned.
- Monitor and document any changes in the patient's condition, reporting to the primary nurse as necessary.
- Follow specific written instructions for personal care provided by a registered nurse.
- Assist patients with prescribed exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Conduct simple urine tests for various health indicators.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Current state certification as a nurse assistant.
- Recent CNA experience within the last two years; if not, completion of a training program is required.
- Current CPR certification.
- The ability to cover designated counties as needed.
