Amedisys, a leading provider of home health and hospice care, is seeking a skilled Hospice Liaison to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with healthcare professionals, patients, and families to promote our home care services.
Key Responsibilities- Educate healthcare professionals, patients, and families about our home care services
- Develop and maintain relationships with key referral sources, such as hospitals, nursing homes, and physician offices
- Coordinate patient admissions with our team, including obtaining all required documentation
- Conduct on-site visits to assess patient needs and identify barriers to care
- Keep accurate records of patient interactions and referrals
- Achieve admissions, product, and payor-mix goals
- Meet short and long-term target account goals
- At least one year of outside sales experience in a healthcare-related business development/outreach role
- A background in cold calling customers in pharmaceuticals, medical device sales, hospital, home health, hospice, or long-term care
- A bachelor's degree is preferred, but not required
- Reliable transportation, current driver's license, and liability insurance
