About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Portfolio Manager to join our team at ResMed. As a key member of our Global Technology Solutions (GTS) - Strategy and Delivery Team, you will be responsible for driving strategic portfolio management through prioritization, resource optimization, and effective execution of high-impact programs and initiatives aligned with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative culture and ensuring effective cross-functional program execution.
  • Support product teams in understanding direction and expectations for projects and initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Support the Annual Operating Planning (AOP) and Program Increment (PI) activities to enable prioritization, planning, and optimization of resources to maximize business value and efficiency.
  • Run Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) to track progress and value delivered.
  • Ensure team meets customer needs and collaborates effectively with stakeholders for shared ownership of outcomes.
  • Manage multiple projects within a portfolio, ensuring resource optimization and timely delivery.
  • Partner with business & technology solution leaders to manage and mitigate risk.
  • Encourage team innovation and process improvements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration, information technology, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT/business systems, with a focus on strategy, portfolio management, and program management.
  • 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing cross-functional teams and leading strategic initiatives.
  • Expertise in prioritizing and optimizing resource allocation across multiple projects and initiatives to maximize impact and efficiency.
  • Skilled in partnering with stakeholders for discovery and delivery, understanding their needs, and fostering open communication and teamwork.
  • Skills in managing and mitigating risks in partnership with business and technology stakeholders.
  • Capability to oversee effective program management practices, lead and mentor teams, and ensure the successful delivery of business outcomes.

Employees accrue three weeks Paid Time Off (PTO) in their first year of employment, receive 11 paid holidays plus 3 floating days, and are eligible for 14 weeks of primary caregiver or two weeks of secondary caregiver leave when welcoming new family members.

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate's geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.

This role is eligible to receive an annual cash bonus payment based on company, business unit, and/or individual performance.

Base Pay Range for this position: $152,000 - $190,000

For remote positions located outside of the US, pay will be determined based on the candidate's geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
