Job Title: Licensed Behavior Consultant

Job Summary: We are seeking a Licensed Behavior Consultant to join our team of experienced professionals. As a Licensed Behavior Consultant, you will be responsible for conducting functional behavior assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing clinical supervision to our team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBA), VB MAPP, AFLS, and ABLLS-R assessments.
  • Develop treatment plans based on the findings of the FBA using evidence-based practices.
  • Provide clinical supervision to BHT or RBT workers, including direct 1:1 ABA therapy in home, school, and community environments.
  • Implement individualized treatment plans and programs as written by the supervising BCBA.
  • Collect data during each session with the client.
  • Analyze data to adapt and adjust programming.
  • Provide support to parents, teachers, or community officials.
  • Provide role model appropriate behaviors.
  • Provide clinical support to direct care staff.
  • Implement consequences relating to appropriate and inappropriate behavior.
  • Establish coordination of communication with other supporting agencies.
  • Exchange information clearly and concisely with the appropriate parties and concerns.
  • Complete and submit all paperwork, including documentation of session notes, encounter logs, treatment plans, and assessments in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • BACB Certification in good standing.
  • Behavior Specialist License is required.
  • Master's Degree (MS or MA) in a mental health field and one (1) year documented paid experience working with children, adolescents, or youth.
  • Master's Degree in Social Work provided that the applicant has their LSW in good standing.
  • Valid driver's license is required, as well as willingness to travel as needed.
  • One (1) year of paid experience working with children or adolescents (preferred).

Experience: Relevant: 1 year (Required).

Certifications and Licenses:

  • BCBA (Preferred).
  • Must have one of the following licenses: BSL, LSW, LCSW, LPC, or Licensed Psychologist.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time.

Pay: $60.00 per hour.

Requirements: Staff must have appropriate background checks, transcripts of their degree, and clearances to work in direct contact with children and adolescents (ACT 33, 34, and FBI clearances) and be able to participate in Medicaid and Medicare programs. Must also complete the NSOR (National Sex Offender Registry) Verification, as well as an active Mandated Reporting Certificate (Act 31).
