Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse

Foundations Behavioral Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in Doylestown, PA. This is a full-time day position that requires an every other weekend commitment.

About the Role:

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will deliver quality nursing care to children and adolescents on our Residential Treatment Facility. You will work under the direction of the Registered Nurse and collaborate with other team members to develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct ongoing and individualized nursing care duties as assigned and as dictated by the patients' condition in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
  • Monitor for and report changes in patient physical or mental status.
  • Administer patient medications as prescribed by physician.
  • Provide education to patients on their prescribed medications, documenting this in the patient record.
  • Transcription of medication orders in a timely, error-free manner.

Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing Program.
  • Current Commonwealth of Pennsylvania LPN License.
  • Two years of psychiatric inpatient experience required.
  • Current CPR/AED certification.
  • Strong communication skills, excellent customer service, and organization skills.
  • Highly effective listening skills.
  • Respiratory fit testing is a requirement of the job.
