You will be responsible for leading document preparation and clarification efforts, as well as conducting reviews and site observations during both the bidding and construction phases. This senior-level position entails a greater degree of autonomy, handling larger projects and leading extensive teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the production team in generating documents across various disciplines.
  • Collaborate with the project team to facilitate the coordination process, ensuring the design is accurately translated into contract documents.
  • Engage in the development of documentation during schematic design, design development, and construction document phases.
  • Support the team in meeting deadlines and deliverables as established with the Project Manager.
  • Address Requests for Information from construction managers.
  • Review documents for compliance with codes, completeness, buildability, accuracy, and detailing cost-effectiveness.
  • Maintain communication with clients and construction managers for clarity and understanding.
  • Provide leadership to the project team in the absence of the Project Manager.
  • Mentor and train project team members.
  • Lead team meetings when the Project Manager is unavailable.
  • Assist the Project Manager in Construction Administration, which may include:
    • Monitoring shop drawing progress.
    • Managing pay applications.
    • Conducting progress meetings.
    • Performing site visits.
    • Carrying out other relevant duties as assigned.
If the Project Coordination does not require additional support from other Project Coordinator team members, the Lead Architectural Project Manager will undertake the following responsibilities (these projects are of larger scope and complexity, necessitating strong technical expertise):
  • Ensure the development and accuracy of contract documents.
  • Coordinate project documents with other disciplines.
  • Address details and constructability challenges.
  • Possess a fundamental understanding of building codes.
  • Participate in relevant project meetings.
  • Review shop drawings.
  • Monitor the assigned project schedule and budget.
  • Achieve established project goals and objectives.
Qualifications
  • Accredited degree in Architecture; a Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Preferred: License in the State of Indiana.
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in the architectural field.
  • Proficiency in REVIT is required.
  • Knowledge of construction materials, standards, and codes.
  • Prior experience in construction administration is essential.
