Cardiac Monitor Technician

The Cardiac Monitor Technician is responsible for monitoring patient cardiac rhythms and providing immediate notification to RNs and/or clinicians of any changes. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
Responsibilities- Monitor patient cardiac rhythms and identify normal and abnormal patterns
- Provide immediate notification to RNs and/or clinicians of any changes in cardiac rhythms
- Review patient information to determine normal heart rhythm pattern, current pattern, and prior variances
- Work cooperatively as part of a team to provide excellent patient care
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- CRAT certification
