Moyer & Son Inc is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pool Service Technician to join our team. As a Pool Service Technician, you will be responsible for performing a wide range of tasks to repair and service pools and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Pool Equipment Repair and Maintenance: Work from service orders, verbal instructions, and manuals to remove, repair, and install pool equipment and pool systems.
- Pool Cleaning and Maintenance: Clean pools and equipment, and perform other duties as requested to meet business conditions.
- Customer Service: Instruct customers on how to operate pool equipment, maintain quality pool conditions, or explain pool services.
- Supply Management: Maintain an adequate supply of parts and materials for assigned calls.
- Reporting and Record-Keeping: Write reports and records of service calls, parts used, and time spent for billing purposes.
- Education and Experience: High School Graduate or general education degree (GED); over one year, up to and including three years related experience and/or training.
- Language Skills: Ability to read and write the English language.
- Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Reasoning Ability: Use of some judgment to comply with pool service for repairs and maintenance involving the making of minor decisions.
- Physical Demands: Use moderate physical activity, occasionally lifting/moving heavy material, frequent mental and visual attention.
- Work Environment: Somewhat disagreeable working conditions, exposed to heat, cold, odors, dampness, and other elements with one continuously present to the extent of being objectionable.
