We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist PRN to join our team at Colleton Medical Center. As a key member of our Imaging Services Department, you will be responsible for operating diagnostic equipment, performing and communicating results of diagnostic CT examinations, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Operate diagnostic equipment, including CT scanners, to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
- Perform and communicate results of diagnostic CT examinations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care, including preparing patients for procedures, verifying images, and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and accurate diagnosis.
- Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
- ARRT Registered Radiographer or ARRT CT certification required.
- South Carolina: SCRQSA in Radiology and/or Computerized Tomography required.
- Basic Life Support - American Red Cross or American Heart Association certification required.
- Experience preferred in CT and Diagnostic Imaging, including clinical hours from a school of Radiologic Technology.
