Overview:

Marotta Controls is seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team of world-class engineers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and developing electronic circuits, circuit card assemblies, and software code for aerospace and military weapon systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop electronic circuits, circuit card assemblies, and software code for aerospace and military weapon systems.
  • Perform design analysis, including control system, component stress, thermal, and component tolerance analysis.
  • Coordinate the creation of preliminary bills of material and verify their accuracy.
  • Develop testing requirements, test instructions, and release drawings for development hardware.
  • Maintain ongoing surveillance of customer-driven changes and ensure accuracy of all drawings/documents on the project.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • 5+ years of experience designing electrical circuits in aerospace.
  • New Product Development experience in aerospace/military industry.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, plan, and organize work in one or more projects concurrently.
  • Experience in designing and testing analog, power, control, and digital circuits.
  • Experience with electric motor drives preferred.
  • Strong documentation and writing skills.
  • Ability to work closely with a team of engineers and technicians and comfortable in a laboratory environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.

Work Environment:

This role will interact in a professional office environment and a manufacturing/machine shop environment. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask effectively.
