Job Title: Senior Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join our team at Marotta Controls. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and developing electronic control systems for aerospace and military applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Developing electronic system circuit designs and analyses
  • Managing fabrication, testing, and hands-on work to mature hardware into a qualified and producible product
  • Collaborating with the project team and customers to ensure design meets performance, EMI, reliability, and cost targets
  • Generating and reviewing technical specifications and reports to satisfy internal and external deliverables
  • Mentoring junior-level electrical engineers
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 5+ years of experience designing electrical circuits in aerospace
  • New Product Development experience in aerospace/military industry
  • Ability to effectively communicate, plan, and organize work in one or more projects concurrently
  • Experience in designing and testing analog, power, control, and digital circuits
  • Experience with electric motor drives preferred
  • Strong documentation and writing skills
  • Ability to work closely with a team of engineers and technicians and comfortable in a laboratory environment
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
  • Must be a US Citizen
Work Environment:

This role will interact in a professional office environment and a manufacturing/machine shop environment. The position requires standard office equipment and environments inclusive of appropriate eye, hearing, and foot protection.
