- Implement strategies in alignment with company initiatives and provide clear direction and focus.
- Monitor operations and trigger corrective actions to maintain high-quality standards.
- Recruit, manage, and develop plant staff to ensure a skilled and motivated workforce.
- Collect and analyze data to identify areas for improvement and optimize productivity.
- Commit to plant safety procedures and develop systems to track and optimize productivity and standards.
- Address employee issues and administer collective bargaining agreements.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest production management best practices and concepts.
Requirements:
- Proven managerial experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Adequate knowledge of business and management principles, including budgeting, strategic planning, and resource allocation.
- Familiarity with industry-standard equipment and technical expertise.
- Knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory, and stewardship processes.
- Computer literacy and ability to create accountability and lead by example.
- Strong team-building, decision-making, and people management skills.
