Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Valparaiso. As a CNA, you will play a vital role in promoting the well-being of residents and creating a homelike environment that values dignity, respect, and individualized attention.


Responsibilities:
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to create a comforting atmosphere for residents.
  • Collaborate with nursing and healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Help residents with mobility, including transferring and repositioning to prevent discomfort and promote independence.
  • Assist with mealtime, ensuring proper nutrition intake and catering to individual dietary needs.
  • Monitor and report changes in residents' physical and emotional well-being.

Requirements:
  • Valid and current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Indiana.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and assisting with resident mobility.
  • Strong passion for geriatric nursing and commitment to senior care excellence.

Salary Information

$45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and location.
