Overview:

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts is seeking an On Call Banquet Server to enhance our team at the Wyndham Pittsburgh Uni Center. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service during banquet events.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and serve food and beverages at various banquet functions, adhering to the hotel's service standards.
  • Maintain a high level of communication with guests and team members, ensuring a friendly and courteous atmosphere.
  • Handle guest inquiries and concerns effectively, demonstrating problem-solving skills.
  • Perform preparatory tasks and side work to guarantee prompt and efficient service.
  • Follow all procedures related to food service and safety, ensuring compliance with hotel regulations.
  • Assist in the clean-up and organization of banquet spaces post-event.

Qualifications:

Preferred candidates will possess a high school diploma or equivalent, along with experience in the hospitality industry. The ability to lift and carry moderate weights and stand for extended periods is essential.
