Key Responsibilities- Assist with preventative maintenance and complete report work orders to maintain the hotel's high standards of quality and cleanliness.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance assignments, including room care and equipment checks.
- Assist in checking electrical systems, making minor repairs, and replacing equipment as needed.
- Support major repairs of hotel equipment, including appliances, kitchen equipment, and plumbing systems.
- Service the hotel's pool, including adjusting chemicals and cleaning filters.
- Maintain the building exterior and curb appeal, including snow removal, lawn care, and painting.
- Refurbish furniture and fixtures within guest rooms, including cabinets, tables, chairs, and counters.
- Respond to guest inquiries, complaints, and requests in a courteous and professional manner.
- Vocational schooling, military training, certification, or experience in building-related trades, such as HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Hotel experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, climb, read, stand, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
