About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diesel Technician II to join our team. As a Diesel Technician II, you will be responsible for performing complex repairs and maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers, ensuring that our customers' vehicles are running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and other components
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless execution of repairs and maintenance
  • Communicate effectively with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices through ongoing training and professional development
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a diesel technician or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet Cox Automotive's minimum driving qualification standards
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
