Job Summary:

Under general supervision, performs general office and clerical work of moderate difficulty within the Sheriffs Office Detention Division. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Performs a variety of clerical tasks, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping.

Provides administrative support to detention staff, including answering phones and responding to emails.

Maintains accurate and up-to-date records, including inmate information and incident reports.

Assists with special projects and events as needed.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required.

1-2 years of experience in a clerical or administrative role preferred.

Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.

Working Conditions:

Works in a law enforcement environment, with exposure to potentially hazardous situations.

May be required to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends.
