About the Position:

This is a challenging role that requires a high level of organization and attention to detail. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Clerk of Superior Court, ensuring the smooth operation of the courtroom and its services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare for and attend court hearings and trials, issuing warrants and summonses as necessary.
  • Process orders, prepare minute entries, and manage exhibits submitted during court proceedings.
  • Oversee the audio recording system and ensure the quality of recordings.
  • Review and check the work of other clerical staff to ensure compliance with regulations and policies.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of three years of progressively responsible clerical and/or administrative experience.
  • Valid Arizona driver's license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of court system rules, statutes, and regulations.
  • Business English, spelling, grammar, punctuation, and composition skills.
  • Clerical office practices and procedures.
  • Current Microsoft Office software.
  • Filing and recordkeeping skills.
Working Conditions:

This role requires the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, with sufficient vision to read printed materials and a computer screen, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds.
