Position Overview

The role of the **Credit Transfer Specialist**, situated within the Office of the University Registrar, encompasses vital functions for both incoming and current students. Key responsibilities include evaluating transfer credits, managing the transfer equivalency database, and facilitating student degree progression.

The Specialist is tasked with conducting thorough research on the accreditation of transfer institutions and their credit systems, validating incoming academic transcripts, and inputting official articulation data into the student information system.

Additionally, this position addresses concerns related to credit evaluations, ensures compliance with state and university regulations, and collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders to clarify transfer credit policies and procedures. Providing timely responses to inquiries and delivering exceptional customer service are essential components of this role.
