Witness Support Specialist
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Witness Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of legal proceedings by providing comprehensive support to fact witnesses throughout their involvement in grand jury and trial testimonies.
- Responsibilities:
- Provide direct assistance to fact witnesses for grand jury and trial testimonies, including guidance on court procedures and reimbursement processes.
- Coordinate witness travel arrangements, lodging, and expense reimbursements, ensuring a seamless experience for out-of-town witnesses.
- Maintain meticulous records of witness information, schedules, and reimbursements, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Communicate effectively with the Trial Team to coordinate witness appearances, pre-trial conferences, and trial schedules.
- Collaborate with various agencies and counterparts to manage witness logistics and ensure a smooth legal process.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to address and resolve witness-related issues promptly and efficiently.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling clear and concise interactions with witnesses, legal teams, and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in general office procedures and software applications.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and maintain professionalism in sensitive situations.
- Experience in a professional office environment, preferably within the legal field.
Education/Certifications:
- High School Diploma required.
- Undergraduate degree preferred.
