We are currently seeking an experienced Civil Project Engineer - Transportation to support our Southwest Region.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and modifying reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, environmental studies, and designs for projects
  • Evaluating the need for design changes and making appropriate recommendations
  • Consulting with construction personnel concerning design constructability as related to field conditions, sequencing, and scheduling of construction activities
  • Using computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to prepare engineering and design documents
  • Adhering to company standards for quality assurance and quality control as defined in the quality manual
  • Submitting documents to federal, state, and local agencies for code compliance review and obtaining permits required

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering program
  • 4+ years of relevant experience
  • A licensed Professional Engineer (PE) certification
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
