Job Description

As a Civil Engineering Intern at Quiddity, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the design and management of various civil engineering projects. Our team provides a supportive environment where you can learn leadership skills from experienced engineers and apply your skills to real-world design work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work under the guidance of experienced engineers on a variety of assignments that require the application of standard design engineering techniques, including preparing civil engineering drawings, specifications, and estimates for design projects.
  • Manage assigned project tasks, including preparing and updating project schedules and producing reports related to projects.
  • Produce documentation in relation to project and program needs, including reviews, reports, submittals, correspondence, design releases, bid and contract documents.
  • Review project drawings/site plans for accuracy and completeness and submit design changes for review by the team.
  • Attend and observe construction projects, assisting engineers on related tasks, including field inspections, management of subcontractors, and verifying contract completion stages and payments.

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering Bachelor or Masters degree program, or other ABET qualified programs.
  • At least 2 years completed towards degree.
  • AutoCAD skills or similar design program skills are a plus.
