About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Analytical Engineer II to join our team at NEXA | EAM. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing, preparing, and executing PM, IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols for laboratory equipment in support of GMP/FDA requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute PM, IQ, OQ, and PQ protocols for laboratory equipment
  • Manage and oversee monthly task lists, ensuring timely equipment servicing and coordination with external vendors
  • Conduct calibrations for laboratory equipment, including titrators and FTIR
  • Provide support for additional projects as required
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering, Science, or Computer Science
  • 3-5 years of experience as a Field Service Engineer specializing in HPLCs (Waters and Agilent)
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling professional interaction with clients, staff, and management
  • Proficiency in Good Laboratory/Documentation Practices, operation, PM, and qualification of lab equipment, protocol and SOP development, as well as a strong technical aptitude for troubleshooting HPLCs and spectrophotometers
  • Profound troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
  • Capability to excel in a fast-paced environment while supporting multiple and evolving priorities
  • Outstanding verbal communication and technical writing skills with impeccable attention to detail
  • Familiarity with FDA regulations, pharmaceutical GMPs (21 CFR 210 and 211), USP, and ISO regulations
