Job Summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Patient Flow Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Nursing Administration department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the movement of patients through the hospital, including admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Act as a liaison between Medical Staff and other hospital departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance patient flow and reduce wait times.
  • Collaborate with nursing staff to prioritize patient care and ensure timely interventions.
  • Monitor and analyze patient flow data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a nursing program with a minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent assessment and prioritization skills, with a strong focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
  • Leadership experience preferred, with a proven track record of process improvement and team collaboration.
  • Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
  • BLS certification through American Heart Association.
