Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Patient Flow Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our Nursing Administration department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe delivery of patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the movement of patients through the hospital, including admissions, transfers, and discharges.
- Act as a liaison between Medical Staff and other hospital departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance patient flow and reduce wait times.
- Collaborate with nursing staff to prioritize patient care and ensure timely interventions.
- Monitor and analyze patient flow data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Graduate of a nursing program with a minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Registered Nurse in an acute care setting.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent assessment and prioritization skills, with a strong focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
- Leadership experience preferred, with a proven track record of process improvement and team collaboration.
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
- BLS certification through American Heart Association.
