As a key member of the Hotel Resource team, the Assistant General Manager will play a vital role in ensuring the success of our hotel operations. This leadership position requires a strong focus on delivering exceptional guest service, while also driving business results and developing high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert leadership across all hotel departments, focusing on delivering exceptional guest experiences and developing team members to achieve success in their roles.
  • Cultivate an environment of exceptional guest service by establishing high service standards, hiring the right team members, and promoting a positive work culture.
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members in all areas of the hotel, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Role model quality assurance best practices, consistently meeting or exceeding quality assurance visit measurables.
  • Deliver on key business measures of service, cost, and labor controls, as well as team engagement, through hands-on leadership and delegation.
  • Use critical thinking skills to successfully handle challenging situations, proactively resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • A positive, can-do attitude and a strong passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
  • Bachelor's degree in hospitality, business, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of one year of supervisory experience with demonstrated leadership success, preferably in the hotel industry.
