We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist PRN to join our team at HCA Florida Fawcett Hospital. As a CT Technologist PRN, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic CT examinations accurately and efficiently, while providing exceptional patient care and service.
Key Responsibilities- Selecting proper technical factors for study and performing diagnostic CT examinations accurately
- Assisting in the administration of contrast media and other related procedures
- Preparing, transferring, and positioning patients as needed, ensuring modesty and safety
- Documenting all pertinent clinical information prior to exam, obtaining informed consent, and completing all required fields within MEDITECH accurately and on time
- Obtaining high-quality CT images, ensuring only optimal images are submitted for interpretation
- Remain proficient in executing software protocols and keeping up to date with changes in the field
- Maintaining proactive and effective communication with patients and other caregiver colleagues
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
- State Registered Radiologic Technician, or Registered Radiographer (ARRT), or Associate Degree, or Vocational School Graduate
