We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Medical Physicist to join our Radiation Oncology team at Baptist Memorial Health Care. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality cancer treatment services.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement medical physics services to support radiation oncology treatment planning and delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and safe treatment delivery.
- Perform acceptance testing, commissioning, and quality assurance of radiation therapy equipment.
- Assist in the development of protocols and procedures to ensure evidence-based care and optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in performance improvement and radiation safety activities.
- Contribute to a positive work environment and the overall team effort of the department.
- Masters Level Board Eligible in medical physics by the American Board of Radiology (ABR).
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a progressive radiation oncology department, with academic experience preferred.
- ABR 3 certification and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
