We are seeking a highly skilled Survey Project Manager to join our Geospatial team at Ayres Associates. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing survey projects from start to finish, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of high-quality results.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage project scopes, cost estimates, and proposals
- Lead and mentor a team of survey technicians and professionals
- Network and develop relationships with clients and industry partners
- Work closely with internal and external clients to understand project requirements and deliverables
- Perform quality assurance and quality control on survey projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety regulations
- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Land Surveying or related field
- Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license in Wisconsin or ability to obtain within 6 months
- 3-5 years of project management experience in surveying
- 5-10 years of diverse field and office experience in surveying, including topographic surveys, construction staking, boundary surveys, and control surveys
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center, and Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements
- Proven ability to manage project budgets and teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with WisDOT practices and requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take direction from multiple individuals
