We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at South Texas Radiology Imaging Centers. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Perform nuclear medicine procedures and evaluate images for technical quality, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients for diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation, including wipe testing, radiation surveys, and dose calibrator assays.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient workflow.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and procedures, participating in ongoing training and education to enhance skills and knowledge.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; graduation from an accredited nuclear medicine technology program preferred.
- Registered or registry-eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB).
- Temporary Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) certification by the Texas Medical Board, with permanent certification required within one year.
