Job Summary

Allied Universal seeks a Security Guard for a Museum in Corning, NY. This role offers a starting pay of $17.00 per hour, with a schedule of Monday to Friday, 11:00 am to 7:00 pm.

No prior security experience is required.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.
Requirements
  • Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years old for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • Undergo a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • Pass a drug screen, subject to applicable laws.
  • Licensing requirements may be necessary prior to employment, depending on state and local laws.
