Key Responsibilities

  • Field Support: Assist in overseeing field operations, including planting, monitoring, harvesting, and data collection.
  • Field Activities: Engage in various field tasks such as rouging and detasseling as required.
  • Data Management: Support process order tracking and administrative tasks using data systems like SAP, SMMS, and WMS.
  • Metrics Maintenance: Ensure that metrics and relevant information are updated on visual boards and data dashboards to promote teamwork and informed decision-making.
  • Quality Assurance: Notify senior technicians and management of any product or process discrepancies.
  • Compliance: Uphold the company's Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) standards and adhere to internal procedures while ensuring compliance with local legal requirements.
  • Performance Improvement: Identify and recommend opportunities for enhancing performance in line with production goals.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain adherence to site Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) protocols and Syngenta's policies.
  • Maintenance Duties: Conduct routine maintenance on machinery to guarantee optimal functionality and promptly report any issues.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in a production environment.
  • Willingness to work various shifts as needed.
  • Understanding of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe workplace.
  • Basic familiarity with production software (e.g., SCADA).
  • Knowledge of routine maintenance practices.
  • Strong record-keeping skills for production documentation.
