Lead Compliance Programs at Databricks

We're seeking a seasoned Technical Program Manager to spearhead our compliance programs across the Engineering organization. As a key member of our team, you'll drive the development of comprehensive compliance programs in collaboration with legal, security, and engineering teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement compliance programs that integrate regulatory requirements into product development, following a "shift left" approach.
  • Identify potential regulatory challenges and develop solutions to address them.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation and processes that support ongoing compliance efforts.
  • Stay current with industry standards, regulations, and best practices to inform our compliance strategies.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience leading Technical Programs/Tech Audit/Compliance programs.
  • Experience with privacy/security/finance/AI regulation requirements (e.g. GDPR/SOX/Security compliance).
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (EE, Computer Science, IT, Accounting, or Finance).
  • Experience working with large-scale software and cloud-native infrastructure companies.
  • Leadership experience in interdepartmental teams to complete projects with multiple dependencies and constraints.
  • Knowledge of product development process (PDP) and lifecycle.
  • Knowledge of SQL.
  • Experience using Jira.
Additional Qualifications:
  • Master's or advanced technical degree.
  • Professional certification such as CISA, CIA, or CISSP.
Pay Range Transparency:

Databricks is committed to fair compensation practices. The pay range for this role is $149,000 — $263,600 USD, based on factors such as job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications, and specific work location.

The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and benefits.
