Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Female

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated female Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team for the night shift. This role is tailored for individuals who are passionate about providing care and support to females with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) during overnight hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide overnight supervision and support to female individuals with IDD in a residential setting.
  • Assist with bedtime routines, personal care, and medication administration as needed, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Monitor and respond to the needs of individuals throughout the night, including medical emergencies or behavioral challenges, with professionalism and empathy.
  • Implement individualized support plans and behavioral interventions under the guidance of supervisors, promoting independence and personal growth.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive environment that respects the dignity and rights of all female individuals under your care.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of observations, incidents, and interventions under organizational policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with coworkers, supervisors, families, and other stakeholders to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for individuals.
  • Uphold high standards of cleanliness and safety in the living environment, performing light housekeeping duties as necessary.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in supporting individuals with IDD.
  • Adhere to all relevant regulations and guidelines governing the provision of services to individuals with disabilities, including confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
