Job Summary:

We are looking for a seasoned Cloud Database Admin/Engineer to join our team at Syntricate Technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience in architecting and designing greenfield database setups in the cloud, leveraging cloud native services.

Key Responsibilities:

Database Architecture:

  • Design and implement cloud database solutions that meet scalability and high availability requirements
  • Develop and deploy database backup and recovery strategies

Performance Tuning:

  • Optimize database performance through query optimization and indexing
  • Monitor database health and performance metrics

Security and Compliance:

  • Develop and implement data security policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with company security guidelines and regulations
Requirements:

Experience and Skills:

  • Three or more years of experience as a Database Administrator, building and running databases using cloud native services
  • Strong knowledge of DBMS such as Oracle and Postgres
  • Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and optimizing database performance

Certifications and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in computer science, information technology, or mathematics
  • AWS certification
Compensation:

Estimated salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
