Senior Acquisition Program Specialist - The Opportunity:

Are you seeking a role that allows you to assist Department of Defense (DoD) initiatives in reaching critical acquisition milestones essential for the development and deployment of vital capabilities? As a Senior Acquisition Program Specialist, you will collaborate with our defense partners to support the warfighter, facilitating the procurement of all necessary resources for optimal operational effectiveness and ensuring that their mission aligns with our goals.

This position offers a chance to significantly influence our nation's defense acquisition and contracting framework.

In this role, you will prepare comprehensive Request for Proposal (RFP) packages, which include defining requirements, crafting Statements of Objectives, and developing Statements of Work.

You will finalize procurement request packages and oversee the secure management of sensitive documentation. Your expertise in acquisition will be vital in navigating all statutory, regulatory, and policy updates that affect the success of each project. By fostering and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders and securing necessary approvals, you will provide impactful acquisition support.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience with DoD acquisition programs
Proven ability to create clear, concise, and accurate documentation and presentations for senior leadership review
Experience in developing or drafting Performance Work Statements (PWS) or Statements of Work (SOW)
TS/SCI clearance
Bachelor's degree
Preferred Qualifications:

Additional Skills:

Experience with Navy acquisition Program Streamline Acquisition Plan (PSTRAP) preparation
Familiarity with DoD 5000 series policies, procedures, and processes
Understanding of the Adaptive Acquisition Framework (AAF)
Acquisition Professional Development Program Certification
PMP Certification

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance is mandatory.

Compensation at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's unique combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 annually (USD).

This estimate reflects the typical salary range for this position and is just one aspect of Booz Allen's comprehensive compensation package for employees.


Work Arrangement:


If this position is designated as remote or hybrid, you will occasionally work from a Booz Allen or client site facility.

If this position is designated as onsite, you will collaborate with colleagues and clients in person, as required for the specific role.
