Position Overview:
As a Vehicle Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the assembly and disassembly of vehicle engines, as well as the cleaning of fuel tanks. Your role will include maintaining hubs and axles, making adjustments or replacements as necessary. You will also inspect, service, and replace parts of trailers, including tires.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting preventive maintenance and federal inspections on dry van trailers.
  • Diagnosing and repairing electrical issues, particularly related to trailer lighting.
  • Performing brake jobs and replacing wheel seals.
  • Executing sheet metal work on dry van trailers, including roof and panel patches.
  • Diagnosing and resolving ABS issues.
  • Carrying out welding and torching tasks on various materials including steel, aluminum, and stainless steel.
  • Performing body work on side rails, panels, roofs, and top rails.
  • Repairing overhead and roll-up doors.
  • Conducting preventive maintenance on yard trucks.

Qualifications:
  • A minimum of two years of experience is preferred, though not mandatory.
