Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Mental Health Technician to join our team at UH Behavioral Health Residential Housing. As a Mental Health Technician, you will play a critical role in providing individualized care and support to adult residents who require mental health services.

Your primary responsibilities will include assisting residents with daily activities, leading group outings, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, reporting concerns, and contributing to a safe and healthy work environment.

Key Responsibilities
+ Provide individualized care and support to adult residents who require mental health services.
+ Assist residents with daily activities, such as ambulation, feeding, and other activities of daily living.
+ Lead group outings and create a therapeutic environment where residents can thrive.
+ Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
+ Maintain accurate records and report concerns to supervisory staff.

Requirements
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ Must possess BLS certification or obtain within 120 days of hire; certification must be kept current for continued employment.
+ Must pass Level 1 Medication Aide (LIMA) licensure course and exam within first 90 days of employment and must maintain current certification, through the Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services (DHSS).
+ Must obtain a valid Class E Missouri or Kansas driver's license and be competent in operating a 15 passenger van within 6 months of employment. Must obey all traffic laws while operating vehicles while on duty.
+ Clearance through the Family Care Registry
