Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and responsible Mental Health Outings Coordinator to join our team at Beacon Mental Health. This is a part-time position with an estimated $25-$30 per hour, depending on experience, in addition to a comprehensive benefits package.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating community-based activities for our clients, including transportation to and from these events. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to maintain composure in potentially stressful situations, and a valid Class E Driver's License.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and coordinate community-based activities for our clients, including soliciting ticket donations to local events;
  • Pick up participants from their residences and transport them to and from Drop-In Center sponsored activities;
  • Provide general oversight during outings, ensuring participants meet back at the van at designated times;
  • Maintain Beacon Mental Health vans, including regular cleaning and maintenance, gas tank checks, and reporting any safety issues;
  • Complete necessary documentation of van logs and assist with occasional coverage for PSR activities as needed;
Requirements
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent;
  • CPR/First Aid certification;
  • A valid Class E Driver's License;
  • Up to one year's experience preferred, but not required;
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to follow safety standards.
