Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Configuration Data Management Lead to join our team at Northrop Grumman. As a key member of our Configuration Management Section, you will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and maintaining the processes for engineering documents going through the Document Control and Release process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Track and manage system configuration
  • Support the Enterprise Configuration Control Lead
  • Facilitate Configuration Control Board meetings
  • Audit Lead for system configuration(s)
  • Analyze proposed changes of product design to determine effect on overall product and system
  • Adjudicate configuration squawks, present proposed solutions to leadership, and drive proposed solution to closure
  • Facilitate and lead multi-organization system configuration meetings to understand problems and suggest solutions
Requirements
  • Principal Configuration Data Mgt Lead: Bachelor's degree in STEM field with at least 5 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree and at least 3 years of relevant experience
  • Sr Principal Configuration Data Mgt Lead: Bachelor's degree in STEM field with at least 9 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree and at least 7 years of relevant experience
  • Active DoD Secret Clearance for consideration
  • Ability to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance
  • Must have ability to obtain and maintain Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
  • Familiarity and or experience with FAR/DCMA/DFAR
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's Degree in STEM Field
  • Final Top Secret Clearance
  • Experience developing, evaluating or auditing plans, processes and procedures
  • Experience with Teamcenter
  • Experience with Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing and Test documentation
