ROLE SUMMARY

As a Curator, you will serve as the primary point of contact for customers entering our dispensary, embodying the Etain brand. Your role involves generating enthusiasm for our products, providing tailored solutions, and equipping patients with the necessary knowledge for safe product usage. Your responsibilities include reviewing medical recommendations and collaborating with your team to match patient needs with appropriate products. Your sales expertise will be crucial in transforming casual visitors into loyal customers.

Enhancing Patient Relationships & Driving Sales

The Dispensary Sales Associate (DSA) plays a vital role in creating outstanding patient experiences, achieving sales targets, and contributing to the overall success of the dispensary. This diverse role combines patient care with product expertise and delivery services.

Building Trust & Loyalty:

  • Exceptional Customer Service: Provide outstanding service while surpassing sales objectives by building trust, addressing patient needs, and offering comprehensive product education.
  • Compassionate Care: Leverage your knowledge of medical cannabis to evaluate patient needs, recommend suitable products, and offer continuous support.
  • Professional & Discreet: Maintain a professional demeanor, ensuring patient privacy and compliance with all regulations.

Driving Sales & Revenue:

  • Sales Focus: Aim to enhance dispensary sales through consistent goal achievement and effective customer engagement.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct precise inventory assessments, prepare sales reports, and manage stock levels to meet patient demands.
  • Post-Sale Support: Follow up with patients to address any inquiries or concerns, nurturing ongoing positive relationships.

Delivery & Communication:

  • Delivery Specialist: Ensure safe and efficient delivery of medical cannabis to patients, adhering to all legal and safety protocols.
  • Be prepared to travel to various locations as required by the role.
  • Clear Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with patients, colleagues, and management regarding customer needs and sales performance.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Experience in customer service is advantageous
  • Proficient in computer use and data entry
  • Must be fully vaccinated for Covid-19
  • Must have valid authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Valid driver's license in good standing
  • Must be at least 21 years of age as per state law.
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive background check is required.
  • Ability to pass a drug screening

WORK ENVIRONMENT

This role operates in a professional retail setting, utilizing standard office equipment such as computers and phones.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical requirements for this position include regular communication, standing for extended periods, and the ability to lift moderate weights. Regular attendance is essential.

POSITION TYPE / EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK

This position may require long hours and weekend availability.

REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • High School diploma or GED
  • One or more years of sales experience
  • Experience in a dispensary setting is a plus
