Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for evaluating donor reactions, following standard operating procedures, and providing exceptional customer service to our donors. You will also support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees and manage employee incidents.

Responsibilities
  • Evaluate donor reactions and follow standard operating procedures
  • Provide exceptional customer service to donors
  • Support the Hepatitis B and Seasonal Flu vaccination programs for employees
  • Manage employee incidents and determine whether further evaluation is required
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Currently licensed or certified as an EMT-Paramedic
  • Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and AED certification
  • Fulfill state requirements for basic IV therapy
  • Satisfactorily complete FDA-approved training requirements for BioLife Medical Support Specialist
  • Two years of experience in a clinical or hospital setting
