Position Overview:
We are seeking a qualified Superintendent with extensive experience in Commercial Construction to oversee our projects from inception to completion. This role is vital for ensuring that all construction activities are executed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will manage a variety of projects and will be responsible for supervising on-site personnel and coordinating all construction activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all on-site construction operations, ensuring timely project delivery within budget and adhering to quality standards.
  • Coordinate schedules for subcontractors, suppliers, and material deliveries to ensure resource availability.
  • Maintain and update a comprehensive project schedule, making necessary adjustments as required.
  • Supervise and mentor field staff, promoting a culture of safety and professionalism.
  • Ensure compliance with design specifications and quality standards during all on-site work.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to enforce safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Act as the main point of contact between the construction site and project management, providing updates and addressing any issues.
  • Review and approve invoices from subcontractors and vendors, ensuring accurate billing.
  • Resolve conflicts and disputes in a timely and professional manner.
  • Continuously assess project performance and identify opportunities for improvement.


Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Superintendent in the construction sector.
  • Proven background in Commercial, Institutional, and Industrial Construction.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety standards.
  • Ability to effectively schedule and coordinate subcontractors.
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Strong communication skills, capable of liaising with various stakeholders.
  • Proficient in construction management software and technology.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work.
  • A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred.
