Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Superintendent to join our dynamic team at Jobot. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of our commercial construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Schedule and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and material deliveries, ensuring all resources are available as needed.
  • Implement and maintain a comprehensive project schedule, making updates and adjustments as necessary.
  • Directly supervise and mentor field personnel, promoting a positive work environment and fostering a culture of safety and professionalism.
  • Coordinate and oversee all work on-site, ensuring all work is being done properly and in accordance with design specifications and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and ensure that all safety regulations and guidelines are being followed.
  • Act as the primary liaison between the construction site and the project management team, providing regular updates and addressing any issues or concerns that arise.
  • Review and approve all subcontractor and vendor invoices and ensure all work is being billed correctly.
  • Resolve any conflicts or disputes that arise, ensuring all issues are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Superintendent role within the construction industry.
  • Proven experience with Commercial Construction, Institutional Construction, and Industrial Construction.
  • Exceptional knowledge of construction processes, equipment, and OSHA safety protocols.
  • Demonstrated ability to schedule and coordinate subcontractors effectively.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to supervise and mentor field personnel.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and conflict resolution skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using construction management software and technology.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
