Key Responsibilities:
  • Production Planning and Execution: Collaborate with production management to prioritize tasks and ensure that they are executed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Quality Control: Verify that all equipment and products meet established standards and customer requirements.
  • Process Improvement: Work with test engineering and manufacturing engineering to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase productivity and quality.
  • Material Management: Assist in managing material flow to ensure that customer orders are fulfilled on time.
  • Work-in-Progress (WIP) Management: Oversee the WIP process to ensure that all products are properly tracked and managed.
  • Communication and Reporting: Communicate effectively with management and team members to identify and resolve any issues that may arise during production.
  • Training and Development: Provide guidance and training to junior employees to help them develop their skills and advance in their careers.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Electro-Mechanical Experience: Previous experience in electro-mechanical fields is highly desirable.
  • Leadership Skills: Evidence of good leadership skills and ability to motivate team members.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to use shop floor MRP systems (Oracle/SAP preferred).

As a Production Team Leader at GE Vernova, you will be eligible for a competitive salary range of $30-$34 per hour, depending on your experience and qualifications.
