Position SummaryThe role of the Territory Sales Representative involves identifying, establishing, and cultivating business relationships with both organizations and individuals within a specified region. The primary objective is to drive and enhance revenue for the branch and the overall company. Key Responsibilities- Manage daily territory operations and pursue revenue growth through site visits to various customer locations.
- Create and maintain a list of potential clients, ensuring consistent communication via phone and online channels.
- Formulate, strategize, and implement sales plans to meet and exceed targeted objectives.
- Achieve and surpass sales quotas by effectively renting and selling equipment.
- Assess customer requirements and respond accordingly while being aware of market trends and competitor pricing.
- Engage with customers at strategic levels to broaden the customer base, including industrial and nontraditional accounts.
- Provide support to team members as needed.
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- A proven history of 3 to 5 years in outside sales, particularly within the industrial or heavy equipment sectors, is advantageous.
- Proficient in operating various types of vehicles and equipment.
- Strong verbal communication skills for effective customer interaction.
- Timely follow-up with clients to maintain relationships.
- Able to adapt quickly to new environments.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
- Customer service-oriented with a focus on meeting client needs.
- Ability to respond to evolving business demands.
- Solid computer skills, particularly in MS Office.
- Effective communication with all levels within the organization.
The compensation package includes an annual salary ranging from $35,000 to $45,000, along with a monthly commission structure. A commission guarantee is also provided, with first-year earnings projected between $90,000 and $110,000.
